About Michael Kiefer

Michael Kiefer has been in the real estate industry since 2004 starting off as an investor renovating and rebuilding houses in Washington DC.  It was early in his career he saw the need for an in-depth understanding of knowing how homes perform and operate in an efficient way. Michael pursued ways some of the dated homes in the Washington region could be updated/renovated incorporating better building practices that focused on energy efficiency and solar.  Having rebuilt many homes over the years Michael can evaluate a home fairly quickly pointing out immediate concerns, repairs and building practices to appreciate or steer clear of.

He understands that buying a home is one of the largest investments a home buyer / owner will make and preparing to buy or sell a home needs a Realtor who has a detailed knowledge of how a home operates and what it takes to manage all parties expectations in a highly professional way.

Aside from real estate Michael has been rebuilding a MD farm caring for a variety of livestock, dogs, cats and providing produce for a local CSA.
